Monthly Family Meeting (started on Saturday July 27, 2019) is scheduled to recur every fourth Saturday.
These are interactive sessions with parents and guardians of our in-house clients. We try to explain the disease and also respond to their queries.

20th Sober Birthday Celebration for our Director
17th January, 2020 commemorated the 20th Sober Birthday for Sobriety Foundation’s own Director Simanta Das. It was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the Wellness Center with patients, personnel, family and friends in attendance. Leadership by example at it’s best!

Inauguration of the new wing on second story of Sobriety Foundation building held on June 26, 2020 (UN International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking)
The addition of this new wing increases our capacity of beds to 95. Also, we designed a modern class room as well as a yoga room.
(On 26 June 2020, the United Nations, governments, non-governmental organizations, the media and citizens around the world observed the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking to raise awareness about the impact of drug abuse and illicit trafficking of drugs.)

Sobriety Foundation’s Director Simanta Das, among other delegates, was invited by the honourable Chief Minister of Assam to discuss the modalities of drug de- addiction treatment facilities in the state and what can be done to better the treatment facilities. We were honoured to be part of the discussion. We all put forward some important points which were then noted. Hope this fight against drugs get stronger.
